Indians have lot of amazing writers and poets, but the unpopularity of books and novels among audience makes their effort less appreciated. Most of people barely known about famous Indian authors. Authors, Novelist, Writers interest small proportion of audiences.

1. Chetan Bhagat -
Chetan Bhagat is Author with nine blockbuster novels. List includes

2. Amrita Pritam -
Amrita Pritam is Indian Novelist, Poet and essay writer. She usually writes in Hindi and Punjabi, she was so famous that her work was translated into many languages including English, Danish, Japanese, French, and Mandarin.
She has written almost 100 books of poetry, fiction, biographies, essays, a collection of Punjabi folk songs and an autobiography.

3. Jhumpa Lahiri -
Jhumpa Lahiri is daughter of Indian immigrants from the Indian state of West Bengal. Though she has American Nationality still her popular among Indians.

Khushwant Singh was Indian author, lawyer, diplomat, journalist and politician. He survived 1947 Partition of India.

6.Arundhati Roy -

Vikram Seth is Indian Author and Poet. He is known for book A Suitable Boy, Netflix is going to release movie based on book.
