Three Thousand Stitches by Sudha Murthy

Three thousand Stitches by Sudha Murthy has approximately 11 stories .
Stories are mostly warm and simple; and in turn, trigger slivers of thought as she broaches the issues of alcoholism, conservatism, exploitation and discrimination.

Each chapter has taken from authors real life it includes the  struggling days of infosis and her management between personal and professional life . From beginning to end her life gives   valuable lessons .

She struggled from her childhood days , choosing engineering over other profession , when it's against norms of society.

Sudha Murthy and  her foundation help a lot of people with open heart , she has incredible journey from being child to grandmother .

Author shares her childhood days , grandparents memories and deep connection between her grandparents values and her most important decision of life .  She narrated , why she gave up on buying  saaris , even when she is known for her collections .

She won my heart through her simplicity and gratitude . Her smoothness and effectiveness of book has made me imagine each secianior .

In between chapters she shared her perspective of life , within all of them my  favourite is this one :

"Confidence doesn’t mean that everything will go our way. It simply gives us the ability to accept failures that we will inevitably meet on our path and move forward with hope."

She had hard day's in company, they waited long to make their own office . Apart from all this they managed to help indian women living in abroad ,who tricked in greed of good job and facilities  and then they are stuck their and can't find way to go back . Their foundation provided expenses of urgent tickets .

Sudha Murthy ended with most valuable life lesson narrting the stories of alcoholism warrior . Last lines are so beautiful :

"One of life’s goals is the ability to understand human nature and raise a fellow being from rock bottom to becoming a useful member of society. We all lose a few battles in our lives, but we can win the war.
There’s always hope."and

And I highly recommend the book , even if you are beginners you must read the book . The writing aids the reading and the unvarnished prose tempted me to finish this book in one go. A good read, with plenty to chew on and some humour to ease the tension.Know More.
